David L. Dean

David Dean is a partner of the firm where he holds a diverse practice, which primarily focuses on workers' compensaiton law, general civil liability defense, products liability and mass torts.  Although having success in many diverse areas of law, David has taught continuing education courses in workers' compensation law where he has extensive experience.

Born in Portsmouth, Virginia in 1957, David attended Livingston University, where he also played football.  He resides in Birmingham with his wife, Yvonne, of over 35 years.  David and Yvonne have one son, Beau, who also lives in Birmingham.

David has earned an AV* Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which is its highest rating for ethical standards and legal ability. David is an active member of the Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
